Ascot Swim Club, Established in 1973 Operates as an Amateur Junior Swim Club

Ascot is a club where all members are encouraged to participate at all levels and abilities. We are a club that focuses on participation, where each individual swimmer is encouraged to swim against his/her own personal best time with the opportunity to improve in a fun and supportive environment.

Club night enables the swimmers to gain a great introduction into a racing environment. It provides race practice for our junior and senior members in 25m, 50m and 100m timed events. The club also offers junior family members an opportunity to swim in a fun 12.5m event assisted by senior swimmers.

Ascot Swim Club is held every Friday night during Term 1 and Term 4 (October - March.) These meets are held in the school swimming pool, which is a heated outdoor pool. Meets start at 5.45pm and usually finish by 7.30pm - younger swimmers are often finished by 7pm. Swimmers of all abilities from 4 -12 years are welcome to participate. Mums, Dads and younger siblings are all welcome and can enjoy a social Friday evening around the pool – with a BBQ and licensed canteen. Eftpos facilities are available in the canteen for your convenience.

The club participates in inter-club meets during the season. The most famous being the "The Ascot Cup" a three way swim off between Eagle Junction, Wilston and Ascot swimming clubs. Excitement levels reach a new high on cup day as the local Mums and Dads take to the water to participate in the highly rivaled parents relay. One race this season you don't want to miss!
